The Review
ShadowSpear received a copy of the book from Random House publications. To sum things up, it was a well written (not to mention researched) book. It gives the reader a good insight into the hunt for the Desert Fox (Rommel), and how the elite mounted unit operated in theater. Even though it is considered "historical fiction," you get a unique look at the LRDG and the German and British Armies. We rate this book 3 stars out of 5, and recommend it for the history buffs out there.
