98th CAB Soldiers to Receive Purple Hearts
FORT BRAGG, NC – The 98th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne) will present three Soldiers Purple Heart Medals in a ceremony at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the auditorium at the U.S. John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School.
The three Soldiers, Capt. Shawn Jokinen, Sgt. 1st Class Arnulfo Benitez and Sgt. 1st Class Juan Cando were injured Jan. 3, 2012, while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
