Finally getting back to this.

Today I want to take the chance to thank the guys who have patiently answered my questions. I came to this site with what I considered a decent knowledge base of things military. The guys of ShadowSpear have shared their knowledge each and every time I've asked, professionally and without condescension to the romance writer. If this project ever sees the publication light of day, there will be thank yous to this wonderful group right up front.

OK Gang, here goes nuttin'. As I said in my intro, I'm a writer. Yes, its romance. And yes, its steamy when the couple get down to biz. But that's not all it is.

Warriors (notice I didnt say military) are a breed apart. You can be a soldier, sailor etc and not be a warrior. It's that spirit I want to celebrate in my books. That special something in the eyes, that calm center and quiet confidence.
