Yeah... the scholarship officer that awarded me an extra scholarship is working on like 5 others to get them scholarships, but the amounts are dwindling so much... U have some hoops to get through, but if ur in the program and have ur medical stuff cleared then that makes it easier for ROTC to at least award u a three year scholarship.

I hardly beat you out... only by 3 points. That close, it doesn't matter. I'm looking at another posted APFT done by the end of this week: saturday or sunday. Riptide said he was going to do it, but never did, so I'll try poke and prod him to do it

When are you starting school? I only have until the 21st to get as ready as I can for ROTC.

Hey, you mentioned that your scholarship fell apart and you are just going to take the class when you go off to college. Are you still completing( or have completed) your DoDMERB appointments, remedials, DQ/waivers? Just curious. Have to work on mine because it will be much harder/riskier to take care of them when I go to college.

That's interesting! My scholarship fell apart too. Somehow my packet got stuck in limbo eventhough it is complete. I missed the last 3 decision boards and my PMS told me I better worry more about DoDMERB and just enroll at Dayton. He wants to find me money to cover the year though. I am not holding my breath though.

I don't know if you are going for the AROTC scholarship, but there are a lot of complications: ROTC is moving from VA to Fort Knox KY. Anyone with the last name of S( like me) do not have a liason in office at Cadet Command, so there is no way to get in contact with anyone. Nonetheless I am joining ROTC in hopes I will one day become an officer. Try for the scholarship when I go on campus.

Hey! Haven't heard from ya in a while. Any progress on your military aspirations, or did you scrap them? I'm doing AROTC at the University of Dayton.

I just went to a specialty running store.. It was the best I could do.. lol but for 30$ the difference is night and day..
