Infantry Sergeant Airborne "Qualified". Deployed with 10th MTN 06'-07, with 2nd I.D. 09'-10, and currently on my third deployment
Hey! My name is Collin. I'm very excited about this website. I'm 25 and married. I have two children and one on the way. I've been married for over 3 years. I've been in the Army for over 7 years.

Joined when I was 18 years old and the only thing I had on my mind was Rangers. But I didn't score well enough on the tests and settled for Airborne Infantry. After completion of Airborne School I was sent to Fort Drum and deployed with 10th MTN from 06'-07' for 15 months... yea lol

Some of the guys started talking about Special Forces during my first deployment. Some of those guys I really looked up to. We had a "Delta" recruiter brief and it consisted of, "if your not a SSG and been in 10 years this brief isn't for you." And we watched a video. But the video was awesome and really surprised me. I was 20 at the time and none of my family serves.

Thus... I have considered long and deep as to joining the SOF community and it is my every intention to do so. I want to better serve my country and our great nation is in need of SOF Soldiers. The Regular Army has its good moments.. but ultimately I want to be a different type of Soldier and Leader. I want to work with competent individuals who have high drives for success and love their country as much as I do. I want to give my personal best and be the best.

If you've taken the time to read all of this, thanks. I could write more but who wants to read my life story. If you think you can help me I'd greatly appreciate you for it and will listen to whatever can be said. Thanks
