    Greetings, I have finished

The Ghosts Of The Highlands - 1st Cav LRRPs in Vietnam, 1966-67 by Kregg P.J Jorgensen

I got this book from a member of this board, and would like to pass it on if anyone's interested. Good quick read, excellent narratives on jungle warfare.

    Cheers...

I have a few books to put up. Most are a little beat up from being in cargo pockets.

Master of Chaos by Linda Robinson

Roughneck Nine-One - SFC Frank Antenori

    On Combat - LTC Grossman

Inside Delta Force - CSM Haney

If anyone has a copy of On War or Art of War, I would be interested in those. Mine seemed to have disappeared.

I have another book to put up. It was recommended to me by a former CO that got out and landed a great job. I would call it an essential book to anyone ETS'ing or needing to buff their resume.

I picked up The Mission, The Men and Me at the library. I read it over a weekend and wound up going out and buying it. At the time I was in a Sales Management role with a medium sized company and I couldnt wait to put the common sense principles to work.

It was at that time that I was reminded that not only is common sense not so common, but also that trying to introduce it into todays corporate culture is in many cases a fools errand. This book reinforced in me that truly good leadership is a rare commodity. I'll be hard pressed to ever find an employer who functions in the manor that this book discusses but I hope that by reading it and incorporating it into my own leadership principles it will make me a better leader.

Some of you having received the training and experience that you have might find parts of the book simplistic but as a Civilian who has had to endure the sometimes mindless idiocy and horendous "leadership" rampant in the workforce, I found this book to be outstanding.
