USASFC to Honor Fallen Special Forces Soldiers

FORT BRAGG, N.C. The U.S. Army Special Forces Command and Special Forces Association will host the 41st annual Special Forces Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the Army Special Operations Forces Plaza on May 25 at 10 a.m.

The annual ceremony hosted by Brig. Gen. Michael S. Repass commanding general of Special Forces Command.

The Army Special Forces ceremony pays tribute to the fallen warriors for their acts of service and commitment in the line of duty.

Media should provide a list of representatives covering the event along with after-hours contact information to include e-mail addresses, so we may keep you advised of changes to the program schedule.

Members of the media who wish to cover the ceremony must register with USASFC PAO by May 24 before 5 p.m. Please provide the number of news team members, video/still photographers, live trucks and other special equipment you plan to bring to the ceremony. Media planning live coverage during or after the program must provide that information to USASFC PAO when responding to this invitation. Special needs or interview requests should be submitted at this time as well.

Media should meet representatives of USASFC PAO at Stryker Golf Course on Bragg Boulevard by 9:15 a.m. The media convoy will depart Stryker no later than 9:30 a.m. in order to be in position and not interrupt the start of the ceremony. USASFC PAO will also escort live trucks in that convoy.
