1SOW: No More Blues

HURLBURT FIELD, FL – Effective immediately, 1st Special Operations Wing Airmen are no longer required to wear the Air Force blue service uniform (Class B) on Mondays. Utility uniforms, such as ABU’s and Flight Suits, are authorized to be worn every day of the week, regardless of duty assignment.

This is in accordance with the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh’s guidance and has been directed by Gen. Eric Fiel, commander of the Air Force Special Operations Command. All AFSOC personnel are still required to adhere to uniform wear standards as outlined in AFI 36-2903, Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel.
