WASHINGTON, DC – The Noble Argus Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, today released its criteria for awarding its first-ever academic scholarships in 2013.
The organization, created with a dedication to ease the financial burden that soaring educational costs place on the families of our military’s elite warriors, provides financial assistance for education to the children and spouses of past and present Special Operations Community members.
In conjunction with additional academic criteria, spouses and children of individuals who performed honorable service as Special Operations professionals in a military or civilian billet for one of the following organizations are eligible: U. S. Army Special Operations Command; Special Forces Command (Green Berets); John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School; Special Operations Aviation Command; 75th Ranger Regiment and assigned units; 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne); 4th Military Information Support Group (Airborne); 528th Sustainment Brigade (Airborne); U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command; Naval Special Warfare Command; Air Force Special Operations Command; and Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command.
