Cross-Training to TACP

I am currently in the process of joining the Air Force. I want to join as a TACP, but if there aren’t any slots available. I was going to go Security Forces, just to get in. I’m still going to take the PAST test, and can exceed all the required test. My question is, if I end up taking Security Forces, how long before I can attempt to cross-train, into TACP.

Did you google? Ask your recruiter? Go to the Air Force recruiting page? How long would you say you actually spent trying to find your own answer?
