Complete fan-made remake of New Vegas based on the Fallout 4 engine. To avoid legal disputes with Bethesda, the developers didn't use any existing assets and literally remade everything from scratch, including even voices.

Interesting that Zenimax/Bethesda's big beef is with the game assets itself. Though modding is a big part of Bethesda's culture, I wonder if the Microsoft takeover will fundamentally alter how Bethesda choose to exercise its IP rights in the future when such big modded projects are coming out.

Forgive my ignorance, but did anything substantive really come out of Creation Club or past attempts to monetize modding?

Been playing off and on for over a decade “Ultima Online” Demise free server.

My favorite games for a while have been Factorio, Satisfactory(both on steam) and Path of Exile on Xbox One.

Well...now I’ve gone and done it.

I’ve exceeded 90%+ on Red Dead more than once, completed all of the main and a LOT of side missions on Skyrim...to the point of getting bored. As much as I want to play Ghost of Tsunami, aside from not being able to find a PS4 these days, I just cannot stomach the idea of purchasing a system just to play one game. (Maybe when the PS5 goes live I’ll be able to pick up a PS4 at a decent price).

Until then I’ve downloaded Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for the XBox. I’ve read about how hard it is; I’m not looking forward to that part, but I love this time period and am looking forward to getting into that part of it.

Anyone with tips/tricks? I’ll take em’.

I should just buy a new controller now, because I “KNOW“ that I will toss at least one against a wall after losing to the same ‘boss’ 47 times in row.

(Bonus points if you get the reference I just made)

Learn your button timing and reading the enemies attack and the ways you can counter it. Sekiro is a dance, fast paced and you know immediately when you mess up but immensely satisfying when you get it down perfectly.

Play the Dark Souls saga and become a master of dodging/counter attacks. Buy a few extra controllers for that journey.

my experience with drunk souls is that you either all give up because your too drunk to try or you get in a fight because your buddies are roasting you lol.

Left for dead 1 or 2 is another great game to drink to. Everytime you get smoked, charged, jockeyed, spat on or puked on you drink.

If you've been enjoying the open world RPGs like that, Dying Light is worth picking up.

It's a first person zombie game based around melee combat with degrading weapons and a parkour movement system. Has a pretty interesting day/night mechanic where stronger zombies come out at night.

The story is heavily inspired by Heart of Darkness (IE Apocalypse Now), so it feels more like an old George A Romero type zombie story than a basic "zombies are here kill them" B-flick.

Game came out in 2015 and is still getting developer updates, so it'll feel very up to date.

Can pick up the Ultimate Edition with everything (minus skin cosmetics) on Xbox for 39.99 right now.

Played the beta, not impressed at all and I'm a die hard Black Ops fan. I have it pre-ordered but right now I'm full sending it in WoW and with Shadowlands coming out in December...

I'd be surprised if Cold War takes any of my time.
It's alllll about the Battle Royal.

Destiny 2 is a whole new game when Beyond Light drops in 2 weeks. Sandbox changes alone will make PvP very interesting. Hand cannons were always viable, they are about to be even moreso.
