The GOP has been eating itself since Obama (Tea Party and all) and has been on the brink of fracture. The fact it stayed together as much as it has for the past four years is nothing short of a miracle. But I also think Trump has damaged the GOP, on which the the democrats are seizing and using as a wedge. Brilliant political warfare for them.

If we're saying he did the damage because of his existence, sure. But the people who hurt this party the most were the neocons who thought they had control over the body politic and the people showed them otherwise.

But afraid not for the reasons you contend.
Yeah... pretty sure we all know why. ;-)

Lemme see if I can summarize these responses.

“Screw that irrelevant dork, Orange Man Never bad, I’ll stay on my side and nothing will ever be good enough, even largely symbolic gestures from previous detractors.”

I do kind of miss the presidents Twitter.

#MAGA2024 or whatever.
It was never about Orange Man.

To me it's not binary. More to the crumbling GOP than 'just' Trump, but he's had a part. Those other fuckers too.

Generally it's not[binary]. But both [Parties] demonstrated their inability to nurture a young and connectable candidate. I remember Obama's speech at the 2004 DNC. I know so many people that went: "He's gonna be president!"

2008 rolls around and he's running. He connected with so many people. But even then, the DNC somehow wanted to hook Hilary up, for whatever reason. She was awful in 2008, even more awful in 2016. How she was even allowed to run for Senator of New York over an actual New Yorker shows how much the DNC controls/revolves around the state of NY.

There was no one other than Webb that I was really interested in from the Dems in 2016. But again he was already an old dude, but I remember, he didn't want to run. I donated to the draft Webb campaign because I thought he was the guy, and I guess we did enough to get him in, but it was late and I don't know if he was committed. In 2016 there were a decent amount of younger Republicans that ran, but I definitely think Rubio got exposed.

So, yeah, Trump's rise was because the RNC failed. But Hilary's rise is because the DNC is full of idiots. If we look across the democratic party, the only reason Harris is VP is because of identity politics. People within the Democratic party do not like her at all. But hey "if it beats Trump, we're in".

I totally agree, I think if the Republicans put up a better candidate Trump would still be private citizen Trump. Interesting that you mention Webb, He was the only democratic candidate I would have voted for.

Trump had become so polarizing, to everyone. He was either pulling you towards him or repelling you away. I know many Republicans who either did not vote, or voted Democrat. I implored them to vote for Trump, but in spite of liking his policies, they could not stand the man. That really breaks my heart, because as we well know the vote was so close that if he had gotten these Republicans and independence he would have won decisively. The election was his to lose, and he did.

Labeling 74+ million people as potential enemies of the state
74Million?

Who exactly in some capacity of power and influence has labeled all Trump voters (I’m assuming that is where you took your number from) as “enemies of the state”?

I mean are you really using only a screenshot from The Palmer Report for your basis on this?

Goodness knows that particular account is not known for their accuracy, and their hatred of all things Trump is not exactly a secret.

Palmer Report - Wikipedia

Surely you have a better source than that? And if as you like to say so often, you’ve already posted that information, at least throw me a bone and let me know how long ago so I can try to find it?

20,000 Joe's aren't stationed in the capitol because herr Pelosi, Biden, etc, are in control.
You are correct, 20,000 “Joe’s” are not station in the capital. Actually, as your above video states, it is 2k. But 2k with the potential to call up as many as 20k. Semantics I spose, but I just believe accuracy is super important in these conversations.

Which reminds me, in my post (#14,223) asking you to explain your meme and your statement, you responded with a “laughing crying” emoji. What am I missing, am I missing a funny joke?

Cause really, you did not answer my question.

"Today, the OPEC cartel has less to fear from the U.S. producers as the Biden administration pledges to restrict the U.S. energy producer's ability to frack for oil and gas. This will be a major change from the Trump years when President Trump would tweet and threaten OPEC and its leader, Saudi Arabia, causing it to reverse course in cutting production. Saudi Arabia feared the tweet, and OPEC and the oil market responded.

OPEC no longer fears the tweet because Trump cannot tweet and because it knows that Joe Biden is not that averse to higher oil and gas prices. The higher oil and gas prices go, the more expensive and less efficient alternative sources will look more attractive. Biden unlikely will interfere in Saudi Arabia's quest to drive up oil prices and it's already showing that it wants to take advantage and control of global oil prices."

I am not a big fan of coincidences, so I don't think the fact that gas has gone up .25 cents in a week is "just one of those things." I am also predicting everything is going to get more expensive, and the economy, teetering now, is going to get worse.

The economy will crunch and Trump will be blamed, when DC (all of it) is the blame.

I hope the Republican Party implodes quickly ( lifelong Republican) because what emerges from the ash heap can't be as weak as the one run by the turtle.

Mark my words, the Democratic Party will implode shortly after the R's implode as the Socialists push the old guard out.

It's not "socialists" per se, that will break up the Dems eventually, but an extension of the same fight Republicans are having now.

Disregard the liberal/conservative divide for just a second and realize that both parties are experiencing a clash of political philosophy:

Neoliberalism/neoconservatism versus liberal/conservative populism.

Have you not seen the media narrative over the last 4 years or the current narrative branding "MAGAT's" as traitors and seditious insurrectionists? What about the MSM's Nazi, racist, fascist, white supremacist, smear campaign? That's how far the Overton Window's been shifted.

As for the Palmer Report, go to his affiliate links or trawl around some of the DU/DNC forums if you want more information. As for everything else, I posted links to statements coming out of Senators offices and jazz. Those are the optics.
You are correct, 20,000 “Joe’s” are not station in the capital. Actually, as your above video states, it is 2k. But 2k with the potential to call up as many as 20k. Semantics I spose, but I just believe accuracy is super important in these conversations.
Your right, but that ain't how the MSM and big tech are playing it. Check it out, earlier reports stated that 6,000 Joe's have been deployed to the DC with up to 15,000 for the inauguration. Now the numbers being put out are 20,000... don't you think something is fishy?

If there are only 2000 Joe's in DC... why are they sleeping on the floor?

I'm poking fun at the absurdity of law abiding Americans being dubbed domestic threats and your previous statement saying otherwise.
