Hey guys. i was curious. what is the difference between an (ERQS) Expeditionary Rescue squadron, and a (RQS) Rescue Squadron? Any answers are appreciated.

An ERQS is the deployed RQS. When you deploy (in any service) you usually fall under theater specific chains of command- AFCENT for example. The ERQS is typically 1 entity, and all the RQS' populate that one entity. The 38th, 48th, and 58th RQS all become the 26 ERQS (or whatever) when they deploy).
