Sfas boots

You can buy some at Benning after basic, before Airborne.
Any boots that you recommend? My limited experience with boots has been very bad, I bought some of the Nike boots as I had an employee discount. Every time I wore them I got massive blisters. And I'm an avid runner, both road and trail and never blister from that.
I think we have a big thread on boots here on the site.
I'll preface this by saying I never attended, much less passed, SFAS. But I did spend some time in the Infantry and in a handful of SOF units. What worked best for me, honestly, was issued boots. I got them big enough that I could wear two pair of cushion-soled green socks. All of my experiences with Nike and Oakley boots ended in sadness.
